My silk demo will be on display at the Crow Collection of Asian Art for their Lantern Festival. The event runs from 10 AM to 2 PM; I’m going to be there from 11 to 1. There will be lion dancers, lanterns to craft and take home… and of course my smiling face! Sadly, it’s too early in the season for caterpillars. Admission is free.
Oh, I wish I could go there! Well, well, I’ll have to make do with your smiling face in the icon photo 😉 And I hope there’ll be photos from the event. PLEASE!
Don’t tempt me to think about caterpillars! I passed by one of my favourite mulberry trees today, and it looked so sad to me with its bare branches!
You know my favorite thing about LJ?
Stumbling across people like you, with hobbies and skills that are unimaginably alien to me, but fascinating!
The bowl of cocoons is so WILD!
It all looks very awesome!
Is that a plate of live wigglers I see there? If so, they’re longer than I figured them for!
Cool!
Yeah, on the right of the frame – they get to be about the size of a medium adult finger.
You know, you are truly amazing 🙂
Congratulations! 🙂 🙂
