I’m going to be demonstrating silk reeling all day Saturday at the Dallas Asian Festival. If you’re in Dallas this weekend and want to come by and see, it’s free (although I’m not certain about whether they’ve arranged for free visitor parking – there may be a parking fee) at the City Hall Plaza downtown. The Festival is open 11 AM – 5 PM. I’ll be near the Children’s Activities and the Crow Collection booth.
Cool! I got a flier for that the other day from the Japanese language association. I don’t suppose you know how close to the rail line it is by any chance? I see that it’s near Akard but I’m awful at judging distances.

Honestly, I have no clue… I don’t ride DART, so I don’t know where the stops are. The Festival is at City Hall, in the big plaza out front – it looks like there’s a DART line that goes through the Convention Center, which isn’t far, but I don’t know where the stops are.

LOL. I thought the same thing. I had no idea you had a LJ. I’m looking forward to it – I was invited to participate last year, but it was the same weekend that I left with Chris on our big Southwest Roadtrip after our wedding.
