Let it snow!
I decided that these hard-working snow-blowers deserve their own entry.
This is the ride – they have these padded inner tubes at the top, and kids (and some adults) ride down this snow-covered ramp. It’s fast and looks fun. I didn’t try it, though – I was busy.
Here, they’re getting ready to refresh the layers of snow. I can’t imagine it lasted long in the hot Texas sun. It was between 99′ and 100′ most of the weekend. The guy on the left was particularly hot.
They unloaded two skids of ice, each about four feet tall, from a big panel truck.
Gratuitous hot cowboy shot. These looked like pretty genuine country boys.
Here, they’re feeding the ice into the chipper. It looked like a cross between an insulation blower and a mulcher.
I took plenty of pictures of the beautiful backside of the guy in the ballcap.
And here’s the snow coming out!

Hee. I felt almost like I was photographing wild animals that might turn dangerous… I mean, the process *was* really interesting, but not nearly as much so as the trickle of sweat running down Hot Booty Boy’s neck!
The weather might have been hot enough to melt the ice, but those hot guys didn’t help much. 🙂
*mutters inot her flipper* they can blow my snow anytime….
If I had known I could order snow delivered by guys who look like that, maybe I would’ve stayed in Texas 🙂
